Legal Costs Draftsman (work from home)WarringtonSalary to £22-28,000 negotiable plus great bonus and benefitsHours 9am -5pm Monday to Friday full time 35 hours per week - flexible working hoursWe are currently recruiting experienced Legal Cost Negotiator and a Legal Costs Draftsman.You will be working for a very established legal firm. Joining an experienced team, this is a modern thinking firm of Solicitors, excellent opportunities available to join this very progressive practice, with an excellent benefit package and personal development.Legal Costs Negotiators and Legal Costs DraftsmanYou will need previous experience of costs claims.The successful applicant will have solid experience gained from working either within an in-house environment or in the costs team of a Legal firm.

  • Managing all aspects of costs work from start to finish, negotiate and settle PI costs and prepare cost schedules.
  • Drafting Schedules, negotiating and settling
  • Preparing statement of costs for cases proceeding to allocation or Trial to effectively manage the costs of progressing cases
  • Preparing costs on an indemnity basis
  • Ensuring settlements are properly concluded with no outstanding issues
  • Telephone negotiations
  • Challenging opponents costs
