Job Description

Learning & Development Business Partner - Remote, Salary £45-55k + Car allowance + Excellent benefits package, Location: Remote with regular travel across the UKWe have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Advisor to join a global business services provider focused on modular construction, secure portable storage solutions, and remote workforce accommodation management. We are keen to hear from candidateswith proven experience in an L&D Business Partner or similar role, preferably within a multi-site corporate environment ad experience of delivering leadership and operational level L&D.The role: As the Learning and Development Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development initiatives to support the growth and development of the company’s employees. Reportingto the HR Director, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training programmes, evaluate their effectiveness, and manage the internal LMS system.

  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the learning and development needs of employees across various departments and levels within the organisation.
  • Develop comprehensive training programmes and materials tailored to address identified needs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, either in person or virtually, to deliver high-quality learning experiences to employees.
  • Utilise learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies to deliver and track training programmes efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programmes to support the growth and succession planning of current and future leaders within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with external training providers, consultants, and subject matter experts to supplement internal training offerings as needed.
  • Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources while maintaining programme quality.
Candidate requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development Business Partner or similar role, preferably multi-site corporate and experience of delivering leadership and operational L&D.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, ATD) are desirable but not essential.
