Job Description

Junior Project Manager Warrington£35,000ShortList Recruitment has a requirement for a Junior Project Manager to join a growing software house based in Warrington to support the development team through the SDLC.As a Junior Project Manager you will have experience in a technical environment and have an understanding of the SDLC.Skills required:

  • Technical background (exposure to software development C#/VB .NET)
  • Works to Agile principles
  • Able to gather customer requirements and define the scope of the project
  • Understand core business drivers and ensure timely delivery
  • Can take ownership of project scope and change management, actively liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure adherence to overall objectives
  • Support the development team throughout the SDLC
  • Ensure all project risks are managed adequately
  • Production of concise accurate weekly project reports
  • Manage and own relationships with third party organisations
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of appropriate software development technologies
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of software-based projects
  • Experience using and managing Jira
  • A background in Business Analysis / Project Management
    • The Junior Project Manager will be an individual with the ambition and determination to develop a career delivering software development projects. The Junior Project Manager role is based in Warrington and is easily commutable from Runcorn, Widnes, Liverpool, Manchester and Chester.
