As a business they have been trading for over 10 years and sell across Mens, Ladies & Kids clothing& accessories.Description

  • Review Previous Seasons and produce SWOT Analysis with supporting information.
  • Seasonal sales forecasting by quarter/week - Gross, net, margin & contribution.
  • Strategy planning in conjunction with the senior management team.
  • In conjunction with the Buying Team, create a category level product mix and build the range plan.
  • Plan quarterly stock intake, opening and closing stock, stock turn and weeks cover.
  • Plan intake margin and trading margin.
  • Ensure that the WSSI and OTB is updated.
  • Ensure that the buy matches the plan.
  • Plan and monitor size mix.
  • Establish working relationships with Supplier Base
  • Manage the order books to ensure that the most accurate information is always in the system.
  • Reviews weekly trading performance and achieved KPIs, identifying Issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings.
  • Propose and agree actions to recover risk and maximise opportunities within the category and at line level.
  • Sales reforecasting, monitor sales variance to plan.
  • Manage Intake at category and line level. Manage all delivery bookings.
  • Monitor and take action on Aged stock and stock banding.
  • Oversee weekly markdowns, create markdown proposals.
  • Initiate and create wholesale packages.
  • Review stock levels and suggest promotional activity.
  • Suggest repeat buys and identify gaps in the product assortment.
  • Manage the range plan in Season and update to reflect any changes.
  • Manage the stock across the e-commerce business and related market places.
  • Action weekly stock allocation.
  • Run reports and distribute to the wider business.
  • Ensure the timely launch of stock on the e-commerce platform and market places.
Profile
  • Experience working at Assistant Merchandiser level or above in a retail head office is essential
  • Planning, trading and analytical skills
  • Ability to think on feet and make decisions working within in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial and brand awareness with an interest in product
  • Professional with excellent communication skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic and hungry to learn
  • Highly organised, methodical and efficient
