Job Description

iOS Developer - £35,000 - £40,000 My client is a small business with around 15 employees who are looking to add to their team. They have created their own platform which provides a package of mobile apps, websites, and eCommerce solutions.They are looking for an iOS developer who has experience looking after a team. You should have experience in quality app development.They offer hybrid working and expect a minimum of 2 days per week in the office although they are going to keep up with and follow government guidelines as they develop.Some of the skills required for this role:

  • Experience in building scalable iOS apps from scratch and building on top of existing codebases using Swift.
  • API integration experience.
  • Passionate about iOS Development and creating user-friendly applications.
  • Experience working within an agile/scrum environment.
  • An eye for design and passionate about building apps that perform fast, dont crash/error and look great.
  • Handle software updates, patches, and bug fixes.
  • Continually learn about new programming languages, operating system updates, and other information that will affect the functions of applications in development.
  • Experience with publishing iPhone and/or iPad applications.
  • Experience in Touch, Geo-location, APIs and third-party libraries for iOS 2
  • Solid knowledge of different iOS frameworks (Core Data, Core Graphics, etc.) and programming tools such as Xcode, Git, etc.
  • Knowledge of iOS UI/UX design principles, patterns and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience working in a project delivery team.
  • Good at coming up with innovative solutions and problem solving.
