Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Intelligence Officers in Warrington.Pay rate: PAYE £118.23-126.51 per day/UMB £159.54 per day.Hours: Full time (Office based).Contract duration: Temporary ongoing.Purpose:The client requires Intelligence Officers to work specifically in the Child Sexual Exploitation Referral Bureau (CSERB) in their area. As an Intelligence Officer in this role you will be required to perform download responsibilities such as geo-locatingreferrals and you will view reports and assess Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) material.Duties:

  • As part of this proactive intelligence function, your task will be to identify the location of the child or subjects (offenders), utilising a variety of intelligence development techniques, working within relevant legislation.
  • You will be required to perform download responsibilities such as geo-locating referrals and assessing material.
  • You will need to make sure that corporate records are maintained as to the action and casework that is undertaken.
Essential Criteria:
  • You must be resilient as the nature of the material viewed can be challenging. This is why welfare and wellness is a unit priority, You will be supported through specialist support mechanisms at individual, team and unit levels and within the team you willalso play an active role in our wellness and wellbeing activities.
Skills and Experience:
  • SC Clearance is required.
  • A willingness to work with child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
  • Proven experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Analysing information from a wide range of sources.
  • Risk management skills.
  • Safeguarding experience beneficial.
  • Analysis, risk assessments, research and analysts experience essential.
