Installation Assistant (field based)£9.50 hourly rate plus overtime and other benefits including pensionThe company is a culturally strong, successful, well established manufacturing and contracting business based near Gemini Retail Park in Warrington. The business designs, produces and installs labelling and integrated safety solutions for the logistics and manufacturing sectors. The key products are Warehouse ID, Line Marking, Barriers and Safety Netting. The environment is fast paced with short lead times and most of their projects are bespoke. This job is field based, involves working at their customer sites throughout the UK and will mean staying away during the week and working most weekends. Working hours usually require an 8am start on site, finishing at 5pm / 6pm. Full training will be provided in their products, systems and processes and they will also provide iPAF, CSCS etc. There will also be a real opportunity for this person to progress to a Lead Installer role.The job role will include the following responsibilities: - Line painting- Using their floor preparation equipment - 110v / 450v machinery- Receipt of materials on site- Reading and following site risk assessments- Assisting the lead installer- Removal of floor tape- Working in a scissor liftWhilst it is important that you are competent in the key areas described below, they are also just as interested in your potential and drive to contribute to the team culture that exists within the business.Applicants should have the following aptitudes /characteristics - - A technical and practical mindset, numerate- Must have a clean driving licence- Must be willing to travel and stay away as required, as referred to above- Prefers to be out and about / visiting new sites and locations- A keen eye for detail & an interest in solving technical problems and offering solutions- A willingness to develop, learn and progress.
