Empowering government to make a difference to everyone, every day.The day jobCurrently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a unique opportunity to work in collaboration with the existing team on a complex assignment within ServiceNow where you will work within a project/BAU team focused on implementing, configuring and supporting ServiceNow for a variety of Sopra Steria customers within the public and private sectors, and for our Joint Ventures.You do need to hold or be eligible for SC Clearance for this positionThis role will involve a number of tasks including Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements gathering using ServiceNow Agile/Scrum process
  • End to end implementations using ServiceNow Engagement Methodology or similar
  • Ensure best practice adherence for core system setup, development, security, tuning and performance.
  • Coordinate release planning and implementations.
  • Undertake releases using agreed change management and release management processes
  • Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement ITIL processes initially Incident, problem, change and asset management (ITSM, ITAM) and Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within ServiceNow platform.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications, modules and workflow
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, QA, and production environments
  • Testing including functional and UAT
  • Develop quick “how to guides” and other material for end users in collaboration with the business analyst
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end user support
    • Essential Experience:
  • Undertaken ServiceNow Fundamentals and ServiceNow Platform Implementation training
  • Have taken at least one of the following, and obtained the appropriate ServiceNow implementer qualifications:
  • ITSM Implementation (CIS-ITSM)
  • Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)
  • Hardware Asset Management Implementation (ITAM)
  • Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
  • IT Operations Management:
  • Discovery (CIS-Disco)
  • Event Mgt (CIS-EM)
  • Cloud Mgmt (CIS-CM)
    • Desirable Skills
  • Have overview knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and practices.
