A well-established laboratory software company is seeking an Implementation Manager. You will oversee and direct their software installs, maintenance and customer queries for their LIMS and diagnostic products.The company have been running for over 20 years and have a strong foothold in the water industry and complex analytical chemistry markets such a such as biotech and pharmaceutical research.They take a personal and bespoke approach to prospective and current clients in order to really help improve their operational efficiency.Duties include but are not limited to:* Project management/coordination of installation* Assist with maintaining a constant revenue flow* Produce reports relating to forecasting - profit, projects, installations etc* Provide technical leadership* Liaise with internal teams including management, sales and engineers* Occasionally assist with installations* Identify areas for improvementThe ideal candidate would have significant experience with LIMS from either a laboratory background, instrument vendor (such as Waters/ThermoFisher/Agilent etc) or software focussed on the laboratory industry.Qualifications and Skills required:* BSc degree in a relevant field (scientific or software)* In-depth knowledge of LIMS* Proven project management ability - i.e. coordination of concurrent projects and/or managing work loads/assignments for team* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise to best serve the business* Good communication skills - form relationships with customers and internal teams* Valid driving license and flexibility to travel across the UK (approx. 2-4/month)This is a remote based role with occasional meetings at the UKs headquarters near Manchester.
