Job Description

We employ over 13,500 contractors and support 2,000 recruitment business partners.As a HR Apprentice you will gain valuable experience initially supporting with HR Administration duties. Following this you will progress into providing advice and guidance to our Parasol employees. This is a diverse and exciting position which providesthe opportunity to develop knowledge and skills whilst working towards your professional HR Level 3 apprenticeship qualification over 18 months.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for organisation and distribution of incoming documents
  • Document filing, storage and uploading onto our core systems electronically
  • Perform accurate data entry into the system to include updating employee records
  • Deal efficiently and empathetically with employees via phone, email, or live chat, managing expectations and ensuring all inquiries are resolved to the employees satisfaction
  • Provide support to employees, recruitment business partners and management on a range of employment inquiries; including policy related matters, contracts, systems and payroll
  • Process reference requests
  • Induction and onboarding of new starters
  • Manage email queries from employees and recruitment agencies
  • Supporting adherence to policies and procedures
  • Support departmental performance targets
  • Manage escalation process for all complex People queries
  • Maintain a high level of personal drive and the highest standards of accountability and professionalism at all times

  • Are competent in Microsoft applications and can pick up new software processing with ease

  • Are passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent computer and keyboard skills with experience of using Microsoft Office applications
