Job Description

A growing, Warrington-based business is looking for an experienced and confident HR Advisor to support the HR Manager. Continued expansion means that this is a very busy position, so they are looking for someone who has experience of dealing with day-to-dayissues but who is happy to make process improvements and bring ideas to the table. You will also have to tackle the admin for the department although this is definitely not an Administrator role! Its just part and parcel of the job!The role is based in beautiful offices in Warrington with plenty of free parking. The head office is in London where there is a similar operation in place, but you will be responsible for looking after the Warrington site although you will be working collaborativelywith HR in London. On the odd occasion you will be required to visit the London site to cover absence or attend training but that will be kept to minimum. As a HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • End to end recruitment process.
  • Managing inductions and new starter process.
  • Advising managers on appraisal process.
  • Working with the management team to drive positive change in the business.
  • Partnering with line managers to review employee relations performance.
  • Taking minutes in meetings.
  • Reviewing company policies and procedures.
  • Managing starters/leavers/absence.
  • Working closely with the HR and L&D Management team.
We are looking for a HR Advisor who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Able to work autonomously and take ownership of issues.
  • Experience in a Human Resources Advisory or Senior Assistant position.
  • Knowledge and experience of recruitment and new starter process.
  • Excellent HR administration skills.
  • The successful candidate will be ideally CIPD level 5 or working towards it.
