The successful graduate will be working alongside teaching and support staff at our highly supportive secondary school, providing support to students at KS3 in the main with elements of support at KS4.. Focussing primarily on the core subjects of Maths and English, any graduates with either relevant degree specialisms or a natural flare for Literacy and Numeracy and encouraged to show their interest by applying now”- Deputy HeadteacherThis Warrington based secondary school is looking for a graduate who can fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant and is able to start with them in October as schools settle back to normality. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience within a secondary school environment on a full-time basis supporting students in the lower ability sets of Maths and English. The students that require further support have been identified as being behind their peers with regards attainment levels and as a result, funding has been allocated for a graduate Teaching Assistant to work alongside these students for the period a term.Supporting from October onwards, potentially for the remainder of the academic year (for the right graduate), the successful graduate Teaching Assistant should have existing experience of working with individuals aged 11 – 14 (at least) in a previous setting. This experience could be from a prior role supporting at a secondary school or teaching/tutoring at a tutor club or any other relevant setting.
