Brief Outline An industry leading company in the environmental and remediation market requires an Geoenvironmental Engineer to be based from their office in the Warrington area for projects across the North West region. The Geoenvironmental Engineer will be involved with projects in the commercial and industrial sector. The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the projects and their progress.About our Client The client has been active in the environmental and land contamination sectors for over 25 years with an established client base and consistent work across the UK.About the RoleOur client is looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer involved with providing specialists services in contaminated land, remediation, ground engineering, environmental monitoring and waste managementResponsibilities: Undertaking research including site reconnaissance surveys Preparing reports for senior management An initial supporting role in site investigation progressing to carrying out investigations independently On-site monitoring of gas, groundwater and surface water Data input, management and interpretation Factual and interpretative report writing Preparing health and safety documentation, booking subcontractors and scheduling soil and water samples for analytical and geotechnical testingAbout the Candidate Previous experience in a similar role for geoenvironmental contracts Environmental / Civil engineering related degree or equivalent Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise Displays strong leadership skills Analytical and problem-solving skills PC literate Commercially awarePoints of Appeal Freedom within the role Clear path for progression with route to a more senior role within the technical team Competitive salary and package including bonus scheme, expenses, pension, amongst other additional perks.
