Job Description

Gas Engineer / PlumberAre you a Gas Engineer or Plumber with a passion for great serviceAre you looking for a great position with an award winning companyAre you looking for a company with a very real progression routeThen we are working with a great company for you!Who are theyOur client are an amazing gas safety and servicing company based out of Warrington who have won awards for the high level of work they do, including a best gas safety company award just last year. As such our client prides themselves on providing a personal service with all of the work that they do, relying on their professional and experienced team to handle any heating, plumbing, gas emergency or maintenance work. Our great client has a great reputation in the area and are trusted by their customers to provide the best work possible.What will you be doing:

  • You will be undertaking heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires and other appliances, installations and associated works.
  • You will be installing new domestic heating systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes and legislation
  • You will be issuing notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
  • You will need to attend any appointments as scheduled and instructed.
  • You will be expected to adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
  • You will also be expected to provide information to allow records to be updated following service and Testing and issue Landlord Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation.
    • What are we looking forWe are looking for someone with a good level of experience in both the gas engineering field and specific break down experience. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their working as there will be some weekend work and overtime available. We are also looking for someone with exceptional customer service and communication skills.As well as this the following are required;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Gas Engineer
  • Break Down experience
  • Diagnostic skills
  • Must be Gas Safe qualified
  • Must be LPG qualified
  • Must have a Commercial Engineer qualification
