Do you have experience of implementing Consolidation Systems If so, this brand new contract opportunity could be perfect for you. This is a new role within the finance team for a 6-month fixed term contract and is intended to support the consolidation processes for the Group results of a fast-growing International business based in Warrington.The individual would project manage the requirements gathering, procurement and implementation of a new consolidation system and associated change in processes to aid an improved and efficient business model for consolidated accounting and reporting. The consolidation system will involve the consolidation of a large group, including multiple overseas entities and joint ventures/minority interests.The individual will be required to have an existing broad finance knowledge base across all financial specialisms to ensure cohesive strategy and adoption of new processes. Accountabilities: The Finance Project Manager (Consolidation Systems) responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Full project management from a finance perspective including regular updates to all stakeholders- Selection, implementation and testing of a full consolidation system, such as SigmaConso, Oracle Hyperion, Cognos or CaseWare, with linked integration to the existing Oracle Netsuite ledger system- Integration of overseas acquired subsidiaries into Netsuite and/or the consolidation system- Full documentation of designed processes and policies for future adoption- Handover of designed processes on go-live to finance teams- Training of systems team to deal with BAU for the implemented systemSkills and Abilities: Required skills and abilities expected to perform this role:- Understanding of core finance systems and system integration- Experience in full project management of the design, build implementation of complex financial systems, with reference to large scale data sets- Qualified accountant, with breadth of financial experience and knowledge- Thorough understanding of accounting standards, particularly IFRS 10, and the impacts of revenue recognition under IFRS15 and IFRS 9- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situation- Clear communicator with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences- Hands on approach with ability to get into the detail; individual will be central to delivery of all required tasks- Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual changeThe role is fast moving and requires an immediate start so apply now for immediate consideration.
