Job Description

Title: Finance Business PartnerLocation: Warrington (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)Job Type: PermanentReporting to: Financial ControllerI am representing a Private Equity backed group of Utility businesses based in Warrington. They have impressive growth plans within the next 3 years, to help drive this growth they are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their business, drivingcommercial growth while introducing process and control.I am currently looking for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis to support with all elements of the financial management and reporting of the Companys projects. You will be analysing and producing clear financial information throughout the organisation,while embedding and improving processes.Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of project accounting and system reporting.
  • Produce monthly reporting of long-term projects, identify key variances and cost drivers.
  • Lead closed project reviews to identify project variances and opportunities for future refinement.
  • Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management reporting for both the board and investors.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring all statutory reporting is accurately delivered on time.
  • Work in conjunction with the whole finance team to improve financial systems/ processes/controls.
  • Ensure project accounting financial systems are complete and accurate.
  • Identify opportunities for business refinement.
  • Identifying financial risks and how this can be minimalised.
Essential requirements:
  • ACCA/CIMA Part Qual or Newly Qualified.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong eye for detail.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial standards and regulations.
