You should be comfortable reporting and presenting to stakeholders across the business.The OpportunityWorking in conjunction with the marketing and buying teams you will own the website, optimising products on the site, ensuring you utilise insights to driver customer buying behaviour. You will have demonstrable experience working in a merchandising role and will be comfortable managing seasonal trading events to ensure commercial targets are being delivered through effective project management and identification of new opportunities. Youwill drive innovation and ensure customer experience is at the forefront of your strategy to improve sales.Role Responsibilities* Ownership of the Season / Periodic Merchandising Trade Calendar ensuring that website merchandising is both relevant to the consumer and meets commercial objectives* Develop, plan, and execute all onsite campaigns and changes Junior Merchandising team which will be direct reports to you* End to end management of multiple projects, establishing and building relationships across the team and with third parties/ suppliers; to ensure successful project outcomes and partnerships* Ensure effective collaboration with Creative, Marketing, Buying, Tech / Analyst & Insight teams taking ownership for all team alignments* Interpret and manipulate analysis supplied by the Insight team as well as having strong* Deliver cost-effective improvements to customer initiatives and driving all onsite KPIs.* Weekly reporting responsibilities of site performance as well as Periodic reporting the wider business delivering insight to wins, fails and potential opportunities* Regularly present campaign performance, project statuses and prioritisation of current workload to Head of eCommerce.Ideal candidate* You will have strong experience working in online retail and will have the ability to execute and deliver against commercial targets* You will have an interest in consumer electronics and will be results orientates and proactive.* You will have worked in cross functional teams focused on the delivery of successful outcomes, using solid rationale and insights to inform decision making* You will be an extremely commercial individual and will be looking to work for an entrepreneurial and growing eCommerce business where you have the opportunity to progress.* Analytical skills are essential - Highly skilled in relation to Excel, Word, and PowerPointWho we are looking for:* Customer centric* Demonstrable experience in an e-Commerce Merchandising role (Senior or Managerial)* Commercially astute* Highly organised, flexible, and proactive across a diverse range of activities* Focused on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail* Comfortable working to numerous deadlines* Analytically minded and able to work with data is essential.* Inquisitive about customer motivations and human behaviour* Capable of building and developing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally* Can show excellent creative and innovative thinking* Can take ownership of work and is self-managing.This is an incredible opportunity for an eCommerce Merchandising Manager / Online Merchandiser with relevant experience looking to be part of a high growth, scaling and ambitious business with exciting prospects.
