Through our brands, we specialise in managing employment, tax, accountancy and legislative compliance for the UK’s small businesses and contingent workforce - our solutions are market leading, and we’re always looking out for the best possible employees.As part of our expansion and development of our digital journey we are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Analyticss Manager who is an expert within Google Analytic sWe require an experienced, confident, professional, highly motivated, hard-working and resourceful individual to join our digital team to help us grow our expertise in the online channel.The role requires excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ideal candidate will be a strong organiser who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines.A passion for online and all things digital is essential and knowledge of an e-commerce business is preferred but not essential.Candidates must have experience in managing digital analytics for a B2C business and be able to demonstrate successful development of such in a digital channel.Duties include :

  • Understand and report using Google Analytics tools - producing weekly, monthly and annual reports
  • Development of senior management analytic dashboards for website activity
  • Create Website behaviour reports and customer experience analysis with relevant insights
  • Data consolidation and validation in all reporting activity
  • Providing insight reporting based on the analytics to influence the business strategy
  • Building business cases for future technology investments
  • Analysis of inbound traffic from both digital and traditional traffic sources
  • Coordinating tags and working with both internal and external teams to ensure that the websites are correctly tagged to enable accurate reporting
  • Working with external agencies (eg: PPC) to ensure data integrity in all reporting
  • Working with internal Business Analytics and Data Warehouse teams to ensure date is correctly attributed and passes accurately between systems.
  • Budget Control for the Digital Team - managing all budgets and spend
  • Working with the digital team on:
  • Multivariate and A/B testing (from hypothesis creation to influencing creatives to identifying success metrics) and post-test analysis and insight
  • Achieving or surpassing all financial and operational goals set
  • Ensuing compliance with best business practice
  • Co-ordination of activities with other teams within the organisation
  • Keeping the digital team up to date with new technologies and practice in the analytics space
  • PPC and SEO data analysis
  • Skills and Experience Required :
  • Experience of using analytics packages especially Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in analysing and interpreting large amounts of complex data and presenting insight back to a business
  • Effective relationship building skills with colleagues and third-party suppliers
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies
  • A keen understanding of commercial business requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrates commitment to high professional ethical standards and workplace diversity.
  • Ability to adapt to, and support others through change.
  • Experience of managing all aspects of digital analytics including advanced web analyticss ( AB Testing etc )
  • Experience of managing complex budgets
  • Google docs and sheets experience
  • The ability to deal and manage times and resources effectively
  • If you have experience of working with Power BI and Sequel databases that would be an advantage for this role
