The role is supportive of Hartrees development of a range of digital capabilitiesto address a variety of industrial, economic and societal challenges.The successful candidate will be expected to lead the development of our capabilities in operational systems administration and underpinning services for research. You will identify appropriate available technologies or design appropriate technology solutionswhere none are available. You will deliver on high-profile projects in response to business requirements and the needs of our customers. You will deliver application-specific training to colleagues and customers, and design and deploy new hardware or softwareservices via formal change management. You will monitor and improve service availability and performance and provide "Level 1" and "Level 2" user support.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentational skills are required to collaborate effectively with people from a diverse range of commercial and scientific backgrounds.You will have:
