We are recruiting for a Customer Service Lead Controller to join a well-known logistics company based in Appleton. This is offering an immediate start and GBP23,715 a year, plus free car parking and loyalty bonus! This is a temporary position withthe view to go permanent! Own transport is essential due to location!If your successful, you will be responsible for:*Support the departmental management team by providing seamless shift, holiday and short notice cover as required, including short term secondments - requiring flexibility in working hours and days. *To assist in the training and development of new and existing staff on all procedures relevant to the department. *An excellent knowledge of all departmental processes and procedures essential, along with a good overall understanding of core business operational functions. Involvement in regularly reviewing procedures and instructions, in conjunction with the managementteam, to ensure that they are current and reflect best practice, performing regular checks to monitor correct compliance, accuracy and efficiency at all times *Knowledge of the DWOR workings to include keeping up to date task timings and any additions or subtractions *To investigate new methods and ways of working to improve accuracy and cost efficiency within the team, and the business overall; making best use of company systems, understanding how they can best be utilised within the team. *To deputise for Team Leader absence as and when required *Keep up to date with news items, vacancies and process updates as detailed on the ESL Intranet system Essential skills & experience:*Experience within a similar role would be an advantage *Good Knowledge of Microsoft systems essential *Excellent communication skills *Driving licence essential due to the location *High level of flexibility, commitment, motivation and team orientated *Able to use own initiative and capable of operating with limited supervision within fixed guidelines *Presentation skills, how to present information to a wide audience in recognised formats About the benefits:*Salary: £23,715 / £10.13 per hour/ Weekly pay *28 Holiday days including bank holidays *5 Nights a week between the hours of 18:00 & 06:00, weekend working is currently on a roster basis of 1 in 4; subject to change by the needs of the business *Free onsite parking *Full uniform provided, free use of the canteen, further information regarding pension, DIS and loyalty bonus to be provided in the full contract of employment To ApplyIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV to apply!We aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
