United Utilities are looking to grow one of their most important teams by hiring committed, enthusiastic and engaging Customer Service Advisors to work at their offices in Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington. The role is based at their fantastichead office, where successful candidates will have access to a variety of onsite facilities including free parking, on-site gym, restaurant and coffee shop. There is also a free shuttle bus running from the town centre of Warrington. Were looking for a diverserange of people from all different backgrounds to fill these vacancies, because its important that the Customer Service Team reflects their diverse customer base.As a Customer Service Advisor, youre on the front line, delighting customers and solving their problems every day. No two days are ever the same, so youll handle a wide variety of queries, issues and complaints relating to water and wastewater. Youll havethe satisfaction of managing customer queries from the first call right through to the best possible solution, either directly or by liaising with our colleagues in other departments and/or arranging follow on activities. Its your job to help get it rightfirst time, preventing repeat or duplicated contacts by correctly setting customer expectations and demonstrating your expert water knowledge (theyll teach you everything you need to know) and offering first class customer service in every interaction.What youll need: Youll need some proven experience delivering exceptional customer service (although this doesnt have to be within a contact centre) and its important you have strong listening and communication skills as well as being resilient. You should also be competentin the use of IT systems as you will be required to multitask and update systems whilst speaking to customers on the phone and be confident implementing their escalation process. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of Maths and English GCSE (GradeC/ 4 and above) at offer stage. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to gain valuable experience and start your career in customer service and has the potential to become permanent. Working hours:Training will take place Monday to Friday evenings. No holidays can be taken for the first 10-12 weeks of training. (Some exceptions may apply)Classroom training will last for a number of weeks then you will be required to move onto your selected shift pattern whilst being supported in Grad-bay. The shift pattern is below:You will work 20 hours per week (evenings/ 1 x weekend shift) on a 2-week rolling rota. Please see example below:Week 1 - Monday to Friday between 5pm & 10pm - (4-hour shift)Week 2 - 4 x Evenings between 5pm & 10pm with a fixed rest day of choice plus 1 x 4-hour weekend shift, either Sat/Sun between 7am & 10pm. A 5% shift allowance is applicable once you move to working shifts.
