Job Description

On an Exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Cost Controller to work with a high profile manufacturing business based in Warrington.Duties of the role will include:PRODUCTIVITY

  • Is responsible of accounting framework beside exact cost of production
  • Animates and manage action plans (monitoring discard rates, updating ranges, nomenclatures, …) to assure accounting statements and exact cost of production adequacy
PRU AND HOURLY RATE
  • Participates to the PRU preparation and check its consistency in connection with the technical department and update changes in the information system
  • Calculates Hourly rate
PROFITABILITYS STUDIES of POSITIVE
  • As part of progress strategy ensures financial issues analysis and make recommendations on priority work axes
  • Participates in impact and projects profitability studies
  • Realizes studies on plants equipment return on investment
  • Analyses gaps between expected and real return on investment.
  • In case of cost price, margin or plants result change beside budget goals, analyse causes, sets and follows action plans.
  • Analyses and follow every product margin
BUDGET AND REPORTING
  • Takes part in the follow-up of action plans budget with accounting department
  • Participates in budgetary approach
  • Ensures budgets preparation with finance controller
  • Takes part in closing process with all the department
  • Participates in sites monthly reporting actions towards internal and external clients (flash, monthly reporting, rolling forecast)
  • Takes part of management control and inventory policy defined on the site
  • Can be solicited by Plant Finance controller to take part in or take over files in his area of responsibility
PROGRESS
  • Takes part in trade group to push forward management controllers best practices
  • Participates in interns work groups which are in his area of responsibility or not
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
  • Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing Sector
  • Strong Excel and systems skills
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
