Job Description

PART TIME 25 HOURS PER WEEK8AM - 1PMMonday - FridayJob Purpose:Management of contractors & client stakeholders to manage delivery of projects/programmes of planned and reactive works at client sites across the North West.Ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with CDM, H&S and site requirements with a strong emphasis on programme documentation and plans. All works delivered in adherence to EMCOR work process.To build strong collaborative relationships with EMCOR UK, client representatives including project surveyors & client site staff to deliver quality projects safely to budget and on time.Duties:

  • Management and supervision of contractors
  • Planning, organising and managing projects and leading pre-start meetings & contractor inductions
  • Production and maintenance of CDM plans/project documentation
  • Organising and reviewing of contractor quotations, working closely with the Project buyer, client surveyors and other stakeholders to ensure value for money and understanding of works required.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance is maintained for all projects as a priority
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with client stakeholders and representatives
  • Close working relationship with EMCOR UK operational teams providing wider business support where required
  • Ownership of works standards ensuring excellent standards at all times and timely rectification of issues
  • Ensure sub-contractor visits are controlled in accordance with agreed work processes.
  • Carry out audits of contractor performance and any other audits as required.
  • Support operational FM as required to ensure contract requirements and KPIs are met
Resource Responsibilities:Responsibility for the management of subcontracted resources and occasional in-house labour resource for projects.Responsible for ensuring any asset information effected by project is captured in accordance with EMCOR UK work delivery process.Skills:
  • NEBOSH would be desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
  • Good working knowledge of CDM requirements and reporting
  • Extensive experience of managing a variety of project works and sub-contractors
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with demonstrable experience of managing sub-contractors works from quotation through to delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills required to deal professionally and effectively with client representatives, sub-contractors and EMCOR UK colleagues
  • Previous experience of working with works scheduling applications would be an advantage
  • Excellent working knowledge of software packages, including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn client-led software packages quickly and efficiently
  • Experience of working to and monitoring KPIs would be an advantage
  • Experience of undertaking audits and analysing results would be an advantage
  • Experience of working within facilities management would be an advantage
  • Full, clean driving licence
