Job Description

As Continuous Improvement Facilitator you will be tasked with identifying issues within the operations and working with the project teams to implement solutions.Client DetailsThe client is a rapidly expanding e-commerce business in an expanding niche with a fast paced work environment. Over the last two years they have quadrupled in size and have an ambition to double over the next 12 months.DescriptionThe Continuous Improvement Facilitator is a pivotal part of the fulfilment side of the business and will be key to its success.The key responsibilities for the role of Continuous Improvement Facilitator will be;

  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement within the business.
  • Develop and deliver a Continuous Improvement strategy
  • Identifying issues and opportunities for improvement within the operations.
  • Analysing current processes and identifying ways to improve them.
  • Co-ordinating and liaising with the Operations Senior Management team to identify and achieve predetermined target savings.
  • Liaise with the General Manager, Operations Managers and Senior Management team to identify and achieve pre-determined target savings.
  • Adopt a prioritised approach to identify opportunities to deliver improvement to health and safety, quality, cost and service.
ProfileThe successful candidate for the role of Continuous Improvement Facilitator will be;
  • Experience in the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to deliver CI training.
  • Proven practical application and development of Quality/Lean tools in retail environment.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of managing change in a challenging environment.
  • You will be process orientated, with a track record of implementing process improvements and controls within a supply chain environment.
  • You will have experience of working closely with other departments in a business and developing effective working relationships
  • You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, in order to optimise performance.
  • The ability to manage productivity/cost related KPIs
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
Job OfferThe successful candidate for the role of Continuous Improvement Facilitator will receive;
  • A salary of £40,000 p/a + benefits.
