Job Description

Are you a qualified Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience or an interest working with people with a range of neuro-conditions such as acquired/traumatic brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, along with individuals withforensic risk presentations in a secure mental health hospitalDo you want regular CPD opportunities, on-site supervision from an experienced Head of Psychology and work closely with a team of Assistant PsychologistsThen join the Psychology team at St Mary’s Hospital, where you will work closely with a friendly and supportive Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), which offers a vibrant and dynamic working environment where you will be encouraged and supported to develop yourcareer.As a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist at St Mary’s you will:

  • Provide assessment and formulation.
  • Present at both internal and external MDT meetings.
  • Design and deliver bespoke psychological interventions with individuals and groups.
  • Assist in clinically related administration, audit, collection of statistics, delivering training and project work as part of a growing and innovative psychological service.
To be successful in this role:
  • HCPC registration as a practitioner Psychologist.
  • Previous clinical experience, ideally within a neuro rehabilitation setting or a willingness and interest to move into this setting.
