The role.. A new position, necessitated by the companys success/expansion, to further develop the customer base, geographically and across new client sectors. It is a new business and sales remit - with a solid pipeline of leads provided- but does not include after-sales account management. This sales role is about getting a foot in the door, presenting the firms highly competitive proposition, establishing the relationship and closing the new business. The sales cycle can often be 6-9 monthsin this industry, so patience, tenacity and perseverance can sometimes be required. But the companys average order value is circa £200k, so the bonus targets are consistently achievable.The successful candidate.. will be an accomplished, experienced and highly professional B2B corporate IT sales professional who is able to present to senior individual within, typically, mid-size (£50m-100m) turnover organisations in a warm,articulate and credible manner. To be considered you should ideally have a successful new business track record of at least 3 years with a software (especially ERP) vendor/reseller, managed services or corporate IT consultancy organisation. You must of coursealso be thorough, highly organised, self-starting and driven, with first-class communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.This is a full-time opportunity with excellent career (in addition to remuneration) prospects, as the firm continues to grow. The role can be conducted from home, with office attendance only required for two or three days per month, after the first few weeks.The company will consider a suitable candidate virtually anywhere in the UK, as they have customers and potential business nationally - but as the head office is in NW England it is hoped the chosen candidate will be based within 90 minutes drive time - i.e.as far south as Coventry or as far east as Humberside.
