Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with excellent experience in business transformation and changeWe are looking for a driven and passionate highly skilled business analyst to join our business on an immediate basis . This role will be for 6 months but could be extended dependant on the depth of our projectsOptionis are the UKs market leading provider of accountancy , tax and umbrella employment solutions to contractors and small businessesThe Optionis Group is one of the UK’s most successful professional services companies, and we are looking for a business analyst to join our headquarters in WarringtonOptionis has commenced an exciting change agenda and are recruiting a transformation team of experts to support thisPurposeThe role of the Business Analyst is to take ownership of working with business teams to elicit business requirements across a number of concurrent initiatives, understand changes to business processes and functionality, and deliver detailed solutions that support the business needs to the agreed time-scales and quality.Candidates must have an agile and iterative approach to requirement elicitation.Focus must be on increasing quality, higher productivity, improved stakeholder engagement and satisfaction and with faster time to market.The Business Analyst is an integral member of the newly formed Business Transformation Team, established to deliver a transformational change programme to execute the organisational growth strategy.With this in mind, the Business Analyst is also required to actively contribute to the bigger picture, including the development of enduring business analysis tools and techniques, and may also be required to assume some project management responsibilities until the team becomes fully resourced.Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the business to input to the definition of the desired business outcome, opportunity, its context and desired future state and vision.
  • Be responsible for understanding, analysing and interpreting business requirements and needs.
  • Identify appropriate, effective and efficient solutions.
  • Use personal influence to gain buy in from key stakeholders.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for developing and delivering the detailed business requirements to support the solution to a high standard
  • Work closely with the project manager and business leads to ensure successful project delivery
  • Work collaboratively within the project environment to ensure solution is clear and development meets business needs.
  • Support project implementation and business readiness activities to ensure that any new operating models, processes and procedures are in place and embedded.
  • Contribute to best practice and play a role in setting the standard for business analysis at Optionis.
    • Skills & Experience Required :
  • BCS, or equivalent Business Analysis qualification preferred
  • Experience of successful project/workstream delivery
  • Highly organised and action-focused with ability to meet internal deadlines, works well under pressure
  • Tenacious, able to demonstrate repeated effort and resilience when overcoming a number of obstacles to achieve a result
  • Resourceful
  • Flexible, willing to adapt thinking and behaviour to suit the requirements of different situations.
  • Approachable and able to command respect and trust
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Experience of stakeholder identification and management, and leading those affected through the change
  • Excellent problem solving skills and methods
