Job Description

To develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans for the brand aligned to local business goals and global brand strategy.Client DetailsAn global family run FMCG business with more than 35 years in production are looking for a Brand Manager to join their Warrington based marketing team.DescriptionComms planning:

  • Develop integrated communications plans (off-line, owned/paid/earned media channels), executing and measuring ATL and digital marketing campaigns in cooperation with central functions and UK agency partners
  • Day to day main contact for global communications team with involvement in activity planning and local marketing initiatives
  • Attend and participate as UK representative bi-weekly meetings and maintain regular dialogue with global communications contacts in order to voice needs of local market
  • Manage local agency partners (including contractual arrangements) and lead development of local marketing creative assets and maintain up-to-date analysis of comms campaign performance
  • Develop and execute integrated NPD launch activity plans working closely with the range managers and sales team
Digital owned media:
  • Identify and manage local Influencer relationships and integrate into overall Communications plans
  • Creation of Digital newsletter, copywriting and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with Corporate / Local Marketing Services teams to agree approach to dialogue-marketing and database development
  • Coordination of photoshoots
  • Liaise with internal teams (HO, MS, Sales, and Accounts) to ensure appropriate literature resources and website content is up to date.
Other responsibilities:
  • Participate in annual Business Planning Process and regular Commercial meetings to influence and build actionable growth plans for our brands and customers
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing manager to ensure brand messages are translated appropriately into trade marketing activity
  • Maintain understanding of gluten free market and target groups via market research projects and category management updates - ensuring agency contacts are also informed
  • Monitor competitors communications campaigns and share with business where relevant
  • Support and get involved in broader business expansion projects such as Wholesale and Foodservice
Coordinate our consumer events (e.g. Allergy shows) ensuring they have clear objectives and are executed in line with corporate guidelinesProfile
  • 3-5 years FMCG brand (consumer goods or equivalent) and relevant degree
  • Marketer with experience in working across multiple platforms
  • Good knowledge or interest in gluten free market
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure that we develop clear brand plans that align with business strategy
  • Experience in managing agency partners and budgets
