Job Description

The Optionis Group is one of the UK’s most successful professional services companiesThrough our brands, we specialise in managing tax, employment, accountancy and legislative compliance for the UK’s small businesses and contingent workforce - our solutions are market leading, and we’re always looking out for the best possible employees.We are experiencing an exciting period of growth within our Marketing team and are now looking to recruit a "Brand & Market Analyst " to report directly into our Brand Relationship ManagerThe role holder …The role holder will be responsible for market, competitor, and client insight for use within the Sales, Marketing and Digital teams, as well as the broader business such as Operations.

  • Researching, monitoring and analysing industry sectors, associations, stakeholders, partners and competitors including macro drivers such as size, political and environmental inputs, trends and regional variances. Overlaying public domain information from various marketing technology platforms to build a more rounded picture of the overall market and competitor landscape.
  • Ensuring this market and competitor actionable insight is embedded within the Sales, Marketing and Digital teams and ensuring this drives continuous learnings.
  • Build and drive a client insight programme designed so we can understand our customers and their pain points, to uncover commonalities and shape persona’s for future use by the Sales, Marketing and Digital teams.
  • Ability to organise and facilitate relevant focus groups, face to face or virtual meetings to aid in research and insight collection
  • Drive the business survey campaigns such as monthly Net Promoter Score activity and the annual Contractor survey, feeding insight into the business, as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence/Data team for any internal CRM/data requirements.
  • Report findings and KPIs into the Sales, Marketing and Digital management teams to provide insight visibility.
    • *Skills and Experience Required *
  • • Proven experience of producing quality research with a high attention to detail
  • • A great story teller with the ability to bring research and insight "to life"
  • • Understand how to research and analyse qualitative and quantative data
  • • Working understanding of Net Promoter Score surveying
  • • Understanding of email broadcast tool/marketing automation systems e.g. Eloqua and survey platforms e.g. SurveyGizmo or SurveyMonkey
  • A team player, with a collaborative and engaging manner, with a natural ability to deliver
  • Self-motivated and strong relationship building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Credible communicator with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels
