Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a UK Leading Environmental Management Contractor in Warrington. Suitable candidates will demonstrate a track record in delivering contracts for Brownfield regeneration and earthworks schemes.Typical duties:

  • Prepare and review tender documentation, method statements and monitoring plans
  • Work with the technical team and lead the design of remediation and earthworks projects
  • Provide estimations and quantities for remediation schemes. Produce pricing for work conducted by subcontractors
  • Liaise with clients, develop relationships, and create opportunities for business development
  • Site visits/walkovers, interpretation of site investigation findings
  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure full project parameters are understood following contract awards
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working as a Bid Manager / in project management within a Remediation / Civil Engineering contractor environment
  • An in depth understanding of commercial risk associated with environmental/land regeneration projects
  • Technical knowledge of Soil and Groundwater Remediation technologies and their implementation
  • Knowledge of site investigation data interpretation and producing estimates
  • Experience working with project teams, liaising with clients and subcontractors
