Job Description

ASB Officer – Housing Association – Brief Overview:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association in Merseyside who are looking to appoint an Tenancy Enforcement Officer on a 6 month initial contract with indication to be made permanent. This opportunity comes witha competitive hourly rate of £20.03 per hour through umbrella, for a 37-hour contract per week. This position offers flexible working hours along with hybrid working.ASB Officer– Housing Association – About the Role:

  • To protect demand for our properties from the negative effects of nuisance, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches, using a range of early intervention tools to combat nuisance across Merseyside.
  • Triaging all ASB, Domestic Abuse* & Hate Crime cases in line with company service standards’ response times.
  • Risk assessing cases and ensuring that appropriate support and target hardening measures are utilised, including preparing rehousing requests for victims of domestic abuse and hate crime in a timely manner where appropriate.
  • Provide restorative solutions using techniques such as acceptable behaviour agreements self-help, mediation and other non-legal remedies
  • Engage in difficult conversations with customers and issuing tenancy warnings where appropriate also liaising with Community Safety Officers if legal interventions are required
  • Attend a variety of partnership meetings on a regular basis with partner Registered Providers, Youth Offending Service, Social Services Police and other external stakeholders
ASB Officer – Housing Association – What You Need
  • Experience of ASB/tenancy enforcement case management including dealing with breaches of tenancy
  • Previous experience working within social housing in an ASB focussed role
  • Experience using tools in ASB such as safeguarding, noise apps, mediation.
