Job Description

Support Analyst - Application SupportAvanti Recruitment are currently partnering with a Software Company based in Warrington that has created 2 enterprise products dealing with millions of Data Subjects and large organisations. They are now looking for an Application Support Analyst to jointhe team.The company have been growing well and investing heavily in the IT team. The business prides itself on working with some of the latest technology.They work out of a nice office based on a campus that includes a gym, restaurants, parking and more. The expectation is to come into the office at least 3 times a week.In this role you will:

  • Respond to incidents via the service desk.
  • Diagnose and report issues, using SQL.
  • Collaborate with teams for issue resolution.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Create knowledge articles and test defect fixes.
  • Support internal processes and manage AWS infrastructure.
Required Skills:
  • Strong SQL/MySQL.
  • Web technologies, Microsoft Server.
  • API awareness.
  • Application and performance monitoring.
  • Technical infrastructure knowledge.
  • User and data security understanding.
  • Bachelors degree or 3+ years of similar experience.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail.
  • Client management.
Desirable Skills:
  • Consent Management, ITIL.
  • MS Office, SharePoint, Azure DevOps.
  • Linux, PowerShell, Python.
  • AWS understanding.
The role requires mandatory out-of-hours support on a three-week rotation, and you will receive additional compensation. Youll be paid an extra £700 per week during the out-of-hours support period. This equates to an additional £11-12k per year. There arelimited out-of-hours calls at around 5 a month. Out-of-hours support is done remotely with no expectation to go into the office.Normal Support Hours (2 Weeks): 09:00 - 17:30 (with a 1-hour lunch break)Out of Hours Support (1 Week): 17:00 - 22:00 (active working hours) & 22:00 - 09:00 (on-call status)App Support - Warrington - up to £54kI’m working with a Warrington-based Software Company that creates a hugely successful data-focused SaaS platform that integrates with over 350 of the worlds leading CRM systems. They are looking for a Support analyst for their app support team. This isa really technical role and will give you the opportunity to work with API’s and AWS infrastructure.Heres what youll do:
  • Swiftly respond to service desk incidents.
  • Diagnose and report issues using SQL.
  • Collaborate for issue resolution.
Required Skills: Strong SQL/MySQL, Web technologies, Microsoft Server.
