Job Description

Our client are a North West based contractor, specialising in industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems and require an experienced engineer that would be capable of servicing and repairing a wide range of cooling equipment.The Ideal Candidate:

  • Candidates must have excellent understanding of split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems, commercial refrigeration and chilled water systems.
  • At least 3 years experience post apprenticeship.
  • Must hold a City and Guilds 2079 F-Gas qualification.
  • Ideally holds an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Good organisation, communication and customer service skills.
The Role:
  • The role would generally be in the North West of England & North Wales but occasionally further afield, attending service call outs and maintenance visits.
  • Carrying out pre planned maintenance, attending service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
  • You will be required to cover an out of hours on call service on a rota basis of 1 in 7 for which all overtime worked would be paid at double time.
  • Reporting of recommendations to management would be expected.
Package:
  • Basic salary of up to £34,000 (37.5 hour week)
