Job Description

Our client is a highly reputable company that has been operating since 1997 and is one of the UKs leading Auctioneers of Classic Cars.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small but busy team based in Warrington.As an Accounts Assistant your duties will be:

  • Sales and purchase ledger processing.
  • Checking and processing credit cards and expenses.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and card receipts.
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Credit control.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Cash allocation.
  • Purchase order and supplier payments.
  • Administration duties including filing, dealing with queries.
  • Planning and booking auction supplies.
The successful Accounts Assistant will have the following skills:
  • Must be AAT qualified with a minimum 2 years experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Customer focused and capable of exceeding client expectations.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Able to travel with overnight stays.
Additional Information
  • 28 days holiday, increasing to 33 with service
  • Pension
  • EOT Membership.
  • The role is 100% office based but does also involve being onsite with other team members during auction weeks.
