In a hybrid role - split 3 days office / 2 days home, you will report directly to the Group FinancialController with a remit including: * Planning & preparation of all annual subsidiary statutory accounts* Supporting the preparation of the Group annual report and financial statements* Day-to-day engagement management of the external audit* Planning and timing of statutory accounts audit work* Assisting with the preparation of the month end flash reporting* Group consolidation* Cashflow reporting* Providing high level concise commentary and analysis of results* Providing support to the Management Accounting and FP&A teams on technical matters* Responsible for the collation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for purchase ledger, credit control and the non-trading group companies* Assisting with the planning and delivery of the Corporation tax year end process with the external tax team* Support with ad-hoc financial reporting developments / projects / M&A, as and when required* Management of a small finance team Applicants should be fully qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant experience gained within a similar Financial Reporting role for a large group or practice. You will have had previous responsibility for preparing statutory accounts, will have experience of preparingconsolidations and cashflows and will have IFRS & FRS102 knowledge.
