Job Description

Role: 2nd Line Infrastructure EngineerLocation: WarringtonSalary: £26,000 - £32,000 + Great Training Opportunities & Benefits**INTERVIEWING NOW - DO NOT MISS OUT**Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced IT professionals in a well-established and forward-thinking MSP based in Warrington Our client is looking for a personable person to assist in building, maintaining and updating their clients IT infrastructure and to provide 2nd line support.You should also have the desire to progress onto 3rd line, and to move your career forward within an exciting company.The Role:

  • Providing remote 2nd line support on a variety of issues
  • Monitor systems and infrastructure
  • Building, configuring, and testing application software, servers and system management tools
  • Security audits, backup procedures and redundancy strategies
  • Support IT projects when required
  • Completing server & user administration tasks
  • Independently manage assigned incidents through to resolution
  • Analyse networks remotely and manage network performance
  • Undertake client installations on site
    • Required Experience Includes:
  • Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting IT systems in Windows environments
  • Windows Server 2008 through 2016
  • Windows OS 7 through 10
  • Active Directory
  • Office 365
  • Azure
  • Virtualization (e.g. VMware, Hyper V)
  • IT Monitoring Systems (e.g. Syslog)
  • Networking Knowledge (e.g. OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
