Job Description

Do you have excellent administration and financeskills and the ability to contribute to the smooth running of our residential home, ensuring that the residents live happy and healthy livesRodney House is a residential service for adults with learning disabilities owned and operated by the YMCA with staff provided by Surrey County Council. This role is part of Service Delivery, which is the provider arm of the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Directorate within Surrey County Council.We are looking for someone to provide comprehensive support covering all aspects of business administration to ensure the efficient operation of the home. The role holder will be responsible for a range of general clerical and administrative duties including collating data, maintaining personnel administration, supporting the finance function including raising orders, dealing with residents finances and dealing with cash accounts.To be shortlisted your application should clearly evidence:

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience of financial work and working with numbers
  • Ability to set up and maintain office systems
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and anti-discriminatory practice
  • Ability to work as part of a team, on own initiative and flexibly
  • Methodical approach to information gathering, recording and reporting.
