Vehicle Auto ElectricianSalary: £2861Location - Walsall, West MidlandsWorking Hours:Monday - Thursday 9 - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm NO WEEKENDSAre you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for a new and exciting challengeOur client who are one of the largest providers of support services to the emergency services sector is looking for a talented and efficient Auto Electrician to join their team in a state-of-the-art workshop,You must have previous experience working as an Auto Electrician within the automotive industry. You will fit and repair enhanced electrical and electronic systems in advanced motor vehicles. You will have Health & Safety responsibilities which are to ensurethat all operations under their control and within their authority are conducted in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act or other relevant legislation, as well as and in addition to the Company Health and Safety policies and procedures.You will need the ability to read electrical wiring plans and checking and testing of the wiring and vehicle parts. Vehicle Preparation and fitting of the electronics equipment will be part of the job as well as Fault finding and rectification work. Youwill be retesting the system to make sure everything is working correctly and safelyWhat do I need to do the roleYoull need to be structured in your approach, well organised and who can prioritise effectively.The person should also be approachable, excellent at communicating, thorough and methodical. Moderation, consistency and the ability to tie up all the loose ends and finish a job will be of importance, as well as a keen eye for detail.Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA full DBS check will be carried out, so it is vital that you have a clean criminal record.Offers of employment are normally subject to Security Clearance requirements and checks may also be made against your employment history and UK criminal records, covering both spent and unspent convictions. You must have resided in the UK for the past 5years at least and have a complete work history as clearance is a mandatory requirement for your role, failure to maintain will result in disciplinary action and potential dismissal.Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
