Job Description

Join a market leader in the vending machine industry as a Telemarketing Specialist. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy building rapport with people, they want to hear from you.Telemarketing Specialist Part Time (15 - 20 hours p/w), Permanent ContractWalsall, WS2 - Hybrid Working Available£10.50 per hour with a pay review after 6 monthsPlease Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.Our client is a leading vending and automatic retailing company with almost 60 years of experience and expertise in the sector. They credit their longevity and success to their relentless hard work, professional approach and customer centric philosophy.Their mission statement is simple: deliver a consistent and reliable service, with good quality products at fair prices.They are looking to recruit a Telemarketing Specialist to join their talented team to help them meet their growth targets and to complement the existing team.The suitable applicant must be able to work from our clients offices in Walsall, however there is also an option for hybrid working, where you work from home some of the time.What are the main duties of a Telemarketer

  • To call prospective customers using telephone equipment, automatic dialling systems and other telecommunication methods.
  • To build relationships with prospective customers to ensure they think of us first when looking for products and services.
  • Influence prospective customers to acquire company services and products.
  • Explain the product range and services to potential customers.
  • Maintain the information from each call on the company database and update their status i.e. follow up, ring back or completed.
  • Cleanse data and ensure correct details such as business name, address, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, site specific contacts and details around their current refreshment provisions are recorded accurately.
  • Accurately log enquiries for the Sales department from the internet, telephone, email, word of mouth and recommendation. Pass to relevant sales colleague.
  • Schedule appointments using electronic diary for the Sales department to attend face2face or Teams "meetings" with potential customers.
  • Assist the sales team by following up on proposals and dead enquiries.
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers that have been targeted through advertising.
  • Obtain business information that is missing from the company database, by committing time to reviewing business directories, business park maps, Google Maps, data returned to the office by field-based staff and any other method the company sees fit to keepingour data up to date.
  • Maintain the diary of the sales team to reflect appointments booked.
  • Where required you may be asked to attend trade shows, exhibitions, presentations, open days or to be involved in hosting events at company offices.

  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
