Job Description

Evolve is recruiting for an award-winning community pharmacy group, who are seeking a Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee 29 branches across East Midlands, West Midlands and South West England.This is a perfect position for a clinically driven Pharmacist looking to showcase their skillset across a leading organisation.Ideal Requirements for the Superintendent Pharmacist

  • Pharmacist Registered with the GPhC and full fitness to practice.
  • You will have a minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy management experience.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to travel on a daily basis
  • Good knowledge of Pharmacy Law, Regulations and the NHS Contract.
  • Desirable to be IP accredited.
  • Need to have the enthusiasm to drive towards success.
  • Experience of working in a business sales environment is desirable.
Role Responsibilities for the Superintendent Pharmacist
  • Ensure Safe and legal working practices within the Branch Network.
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC Standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the Medicines Act 1968, Misuse of Drugs Act 1972 and Responsible Pharmacist Regulations
  • Ensure compliance with the NHS Pharmacy Contracts.
  • Management of: ProScript, Generic Pricing and Management of Web Restrictions for Branch purchasing, service provision in the branch network, Information Governance, SOPs, NHS Choices, CPPQ, Clinical Governance, complaints and errors, Risk and Patient Safety.
  • Assess IQSP Audits and make recommendations for improvements and conduct full IQSP for poor scoring branches.
  • Management of GDPR
  • Any other tasks commensurate with the role.

  • Good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
  • Must have a professional approach when dealing with staff
  • Excellent IT Literacy
