Job Description

Job role: Resourcing SpecialistJob Type: Temporary 3 month contract (potential contract extension)Location: Walsall (hybrid working available)Hours of work: 40 hours per week (9:00am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday)Salary: Up to £36000 (DOE)Office Angels are currently recruiting for an experienced Resourcing Specialist to work for a reputable retailer located in the Walsall area. Offering your skills and expertise; this role will hold the accountability of delivering first class recruitmentsolutions in all aspects of resourcing for retail management roles. You will support and work collaboratively alongside an internal recruitment team of 5 to source, assess, hire and retain top talent for the business. This is a critical role in supportinga direct hire recruitment strategy.Main responsibilities:

  • Working in partnership with a HR Operational Team to understand all vacancy requirements
  • Acting as first point of contact for all candidates recruitment queries
  • Supporting all aspects of end-to-end recruitment
  • Posting of vacancies; managing of all close dates; screening of applicants; completing telephone interviews; arranging interviews and assessment days, collating of and providing feedback for all candidates
  • Using specialist resourcing methods and approaches, including Social Media and direct sourcing of suitable candidates
  • Using an online applicant tracking system (ATS) and careers site to ensure that all applicants are screened in a timely manner
  • Ensuring vacancies are filled in a timely manner, to directly impact and reduce time to hire
Skills / Experience:
  • Strong team player with a passion for recruitment
  • A specialist in direct resourcing, experienced gained an in-house role ideally or agency
  • The ability to headhunt high potential candidates for difficult to fill roles and locations
  • Able to recruit for volume retail management roles
  • Highly organised, with excellent time-management skills
  • Motivated to work in a busy environment and as part of a wider team
  • IT literate, including basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience of working with an ATS as well as using Social Media tools to directly recruit
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Self-reliant and confident decision maker
