About the Opportunity. You will be providing first-class support, in all aspects of recruitment, to our Retail teams, as well as our Customer Support Centre vacancies.In a fast-moving Retail environment, we create some amazing opportunities within our Retail and Head Office environments. In addition, the role comes with the ability to complete an apprenticeship qualification such as CIPD.About this role A Resourcing Specialist responsibility is connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managersWorking in partnership with People Operational Team to understand all vacancy requirements and succession plans across their region and functional alignmentActing as the first point of contact for all candidates recruitment queriesSupporting all aspects of end-to-end recruitment, including (but not exclusive to): the posting of vacancies; managing of all close dates; screening of applicants; completing telephone/video interviews; arranging 121 interviews and assessment days (and attendingwhere relevant); collating of and providing feedback for all candidates and making an offerUsing specialist resourcing methods and approaches, including Social Media and direct sourcing of suitable candidates, to drive a reduction in Recruitment Agency spendUsing our online applicant tracking system (ATS) and careers site to ensure that all applicants are screened promptly and that the best possible candidates are put forward for interviewEnsure Poundland & Dealz gives applicants a great experience, whether successful or not, to champion our employer brandEnsuring vacancies are filled promptly, to impact and reduce time to hire directlyOpportunity to assist on current/pending resourcing projects and have a direct impact on improving processesCollaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employeesTrack hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hireTrain and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methodsMaintain a database of potential candidates for future job openingsAbout You ....
