Job Description

Print EstimatorLarge Format Print Industry Walsall Salary up to £32k DOE Benefits: bonuses, extra holiday days My client is on the lookout for an experienced Print Estimator within the large format Print Industry in Walsall.The Print Estimator will provide estimates and commercial expertise to support the Client Service, Sales and Production teams.Print Estimator Job Responsibilities:

  • Producing estimates for manufacturing print solutions for various different sectors.
  • Estimating large format and Digital Printing & graphics
  • Estimating post press finishing: mounting, fabrication and assembly.
  • Providing Sales and Client Services with timely and accurate prices.
  • Providing Production with timely and accurate production plans.
  • Supporting the commercial team across a wide range of projects for day to day operations and tender activity.
  • Supporting and developing junior members of the commercial team.
  • Advise and help with the management of the MIS system.
  • Work closely with Sales & Client Services to improve the quality and timeliness of briefs.
  • To represent the business in a professional manner at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years proven record of success in large format print estimating, is essential.
  • Experience of using EFI Pace MIS or similar estimating system.
  • A comprehensive understanding of large format and digital printing.
  • Excellent knowledge of printing materials and substrates.
  • A high level of commercial awareness.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
