Job Description

KS2 PPA Teacher - Part time - Wednesdays and Fridays

  • Are you looking for a role that doesnt involve planning lessons
  • Do you miss Teaching but dont want the hassle of all the other bits that come with it
This might be the perfect role for you!You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at a Catholic Primary school in Walsall (WS8) beginning ASAP. This role is for every Wednesdays and Fridays leading up to Easter. You will be covering classeswithin KS2- so previous experience with higher year groups is a plus.The role:
  • Walsall (WS8)
  • Wednesdays + Fridays (Long-term)
  • Catholic Primary School
  • KS2
  • Parking on-site and off-site
An ideal PPA teacher:
  • Experience working with students aged 4-11
  • Flexibility to work in different subjects
  • Confident managing behaviour
  • An ability to build rapport with students
  • Have a fun but firm presence
  • An interest in education
About you, the PPA Teacher:
  • Primary teaching qualification with QTS
  • Able to integrate into the staff team easily
  • Dedication to teaching engaging lessons and inspiring the students
  • Up to date DBS
