Job Title: Plater/ FabricatorLocation: WalsallWorking Hours: Day shiftSalary: Up to £13.50 P/ hr DOEThe RoleOur client has a job for a skilled plater/ fabricator in the Walsall area. You will be required to manufacture bespoke fabrications for an array of industries using a range of materials including Mild steel, stainless steel, and carbon. Everything is manufactured in house so reading drawings and fabrication is crucial.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a time served plater/ fabricator.You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.Be able to tack weld with MIG, Stick & TIG welding equipment.Previously worked with stainless and mild steel is essential as is working with medium to heavy gauge.Operate specialist fabrication machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, plasma cutters, oxyacetylene cutting equipment, plus smaller hand power tools.Has the ability to calculate complex maths using trigonometry and p (Pi)The ClientA well-established company in Walsall specialising in fabrications that are all manufactured in house.
