Job Description

Zest Education have been working closely with several secondary schools located in and around Walsall and have had a remarkably high demand for Newly Qualified Teachers. Roles required include day to day cover, short-term or long-term placements to startin September 2021Are you an NQT who is looking for a placement in the right school Maybe you are a passionate NQT looking to experience the different environments of schools around your local area, whilst making a difference to the lives of young students and gaining valuableexperience If so, apply now!We have schools in Walsall, Aldridge, Brownhills, Pelsall, Willenhall Bloxwich and Streetly who work with Zest Education on a regular basis.General supply Teaching enables applicants to decide which days they would like to work and is extremely flexible around each individuals current commitments.The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for his/her subjects and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  6. Good time management and ICT skills
Excellent rates of pay are available starting from £90 per day. Pay to scale is available after a qualifying period of 12 weeks.
