This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of families while advancing your career in a supportive and rewardingenvironment.Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday (Office-Based)Salary: Salary is dependent on experienceLocation: WalsallKey Responsibilities:Client Interaction: Serve as a professional and empathetic point of contact for clients, managing phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with sensitivity and confidentiality.Document Management: Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents.Case Coordination: Assist in managing case files, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines, while maintaining organised and up-to-date recordsAdministrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks to the fee earner, such as data entry, billing, and office supply management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.Qualifications:Experience: Previous experience as a legal assistant or secretary, preferably in child care or family law.Skills: Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic demeanor.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.Education: A degree or certification in legal studies or a related field is preferred.
