Grinding ApprenticeDarlaston, West Midlands£232.40 to £420 Per week DOE + Company sick pay scheme + Holiday Allowance40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday day shiftsGrinder Apprenticeship available within a specialist manufacturer of high precision engineered solutions for the global aerospace industry as well as other industries, offering internal specialist training to facilitate growth throughout the business.This opportunity would ideally be suited to candidates who have previously completed a Level 2 BTEC qualification in Engineering as well as having basic machining skills. Those who has at least a Level 1 qualification should also apply.The main duties of this role will be CNC machining while completing measurements and inspections of work and reading engineering drawings while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. You will be supported by the Director of Engineeringas you begin your journey as well as support you through your college release.The company have been manufacturing high quality carbon brushes for many industries for over 50 years in their state-of-the-art machining facility in Darlaston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to step into a role thatoffers continued support in personal development to progress through the business as new opportunities arise as well as go on to gain further qualifications after their initial apprenticeship.The role in brief:*Surface Grinding*Measurement and Inspection*Read engineering drawings*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment*Work towards completing your Level 3 qualificationThe person required:*Passionate for Engineering*Fully committed to the apprenticeship program*Have already achieved a Level 1 Engineering Qualification as minimum, Level 2 preferred*Have basic machining skills*Have a basic understanding engineering drawings and tolerances*Be able to travel to work for 6am starts and travel to a training provider within 10 miles of the Darlaston site
