Job Description

Graduate Project Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of fabricated products based in the Walsall area. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business they are seeking to take on another Graduate Project Enginer to jointhere team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer that can offer a long term career and progressive opportunities.Graduate Project Engineer Position Overview

  • Design jigs & fixtures to aid fabrication assembly.
  • Deal with technical customer enquiries on manufacturing capability.
  • Produce cutting lists from drawings.
  • Producing accurate quotations on project requirements.
  • Co-ordinating projects in line with budgetary targets.
  • Creating /issuing packages.
  • Assist in producing manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintaining a first point of contact for customer communication.
  • Communicate with Production team on project deadlines and production plans.
  • Reviewing results from internal audits and communicating issues to the quality manager.
  • Action invoices and other paperwork
  • Provide assistance and give clarity on projects.
Graduate Project Engineer Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Manufacturing orientated subject.
  • Based in a commutable distance to Walsall
  • Strong IT and CAD skills
  • Great communication skills and telephone manner
  • Full UK driving licence
Graduate Project Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £22,000 - £25,000
  • 5 hours a week (Monday to Thursday - 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:30)
  • 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Company pension
