SF Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a fast growing SME business in the Walsall area as they look to recruit a Finance Manager. This role is reporting into a supportive Group Financial Controller and will give the successful candidate the opportunityto lead a team, drive process improvements and provide key analysis to non finance individuals. Duties Include: - Review Month end Management Accountants and produce board packs - Work closely with other departments being the go-to person for all financial matters - Drive process improvement on KPI reporting - Variance analysis with commentary - Lead on the budgeting and forecasting process - Ensure the cash flow is prepared, reviewed & issued on a weekly and month end basis - Ensure the bank reconciliation is completed on a daily basis and all banking transactions are reviewed and authorised - Review and submit the Group VAT return - Approve payment runs - Lead on year end audit, liaising with auditors - Lead a small finance team including appraisals and checking of work Skills and Knowledge: - Experience of managing a team - Strong leadership and communication skills - Good Excel skills - Qualified ACCA/CIMA/QBE
